Navigation Center
The Navigation Center is the Exabeam Security Operations Platform homepage. The following is an introductory video on the Navigation Center:
Application Organization
Applications in the Navigation Center are organized into the following four categories to align with common workflows and roles:
Collectors: Apps for ingesting log and context data to glean visibility into attacks. This category is geared towards security administrators and engineers.
Security Management: Apps for configuring and tuning your Exabeam data pipeline, threat detection, investigation, and response. This category is geared towards security administrators and engineers.
TDIR: Apps for finding threats and taking action on alerts, events, and threats within your organization. This category is geared towards security analysts.
Platform Insights: Apps for gaining insights into your organization’s data and health. This category is geared towards security administrators and engineers.
Navigation Sidebar
The navigation sidebar has the same organizational logic as the homepage, and enables you to quickly pivot between apps and settings without needing to return to the homepage. The sidebar can be expanded and pinned open so that the app and setting labels remain visible.
To expand the sidebar, hover your pointer over it.
To pin the expanded sidebar, click the
icon at the top; to collapse the sidebar, click the
icon.
Note
The applications that appear in your Navigation Center depend on your licensing.
Session Timeout
When a session in the New-Scale Security Operations Platform has been inactive for four hours, it will timeout. A five-minute warning is displayed before the session reaches the four-hour timeout. The warning message includes options to continue the session or log out. If you opt to continue, the session automatically refreshes in the background for an additional four hours.
