Prerequisites to Configure the Claude Enterprise Cloud Collector
Before you configure the Claude Enterprise Cloud Collector you must complete the following prerequisites:
Create a Compliance Access Key if you want the collector to collect chats and activity logs.
Create an Admin key if you want the collector to collect only activity logs.
Create a Compliance Access Key
If you want to collect chats and activity logs, set up the Compliance API for your organization, then create a Compliance Access Key in claude.ai.
Enable the Compliance API at claude.ai by navigating to Organization settings > API.
To create a Compliance Access Key, navigate to claude.ai > Organization settings > API > Keys.
Select the scope
read:compliance_activities, andread:compliance_user_data.Click Create and store the key securely.

Create an Admin Key
If you want to collect only activity logs, set up the Compliance API for your organization, then create an Admin key in Claude console. Admin keys are created by an organization admin in Claude Console. If the Compliance API is enabled for your organization, Admin keys that you create are automatically assigned the read:compliance_activities scope.
