Prerequisites
To ensure a smooth, timely migration of your Data Lake content, certain prerequisite actions must be completed.
Read this guide in order to understand what content can be migrated, in what order, and with access to which resources that can help with the process.
Depending on the types of content you are migrating, ensure that you have access to all necessary Exabeam Security Operations Platform applications. This can include Context Collectors, Search, Correlation Rules, and Dashboards.
What Content Can Be Migrated?
The chart below shows the types of content you can migrate from Data Lake to one of the Exabeam Security Operations Platform applications.
Keep in mind that just because certain content can be migrated, doesn't mean all of it should be migrated. The migration process is a good time to do some housecleaning so you don't migrate content that is no longer relevant or useful.

---|---|---|
Context Tables | Context Collectors | 5 to 10 minutes per table |

Correlation Rules | Correlation Rules | 1 to 20 minutes per rule (average = 10) |
Dashboards, Visualizations, Reports | Dashboards | 5 to 30 minutes per visualization (average = 15) |
* All expected durations are approximate and depend on the complexity of the content being migrated.
