Configure Google Security Operations Cloud Collector
Set up the Google Security Operations Cloud Collector to continuously ingest all supported default and custom logs from your Google Security Operations account.
Before you configure the Google Security Operations Cloud Collector, ensure that you complete the .
Log in to the New-Scale Security Operations Platform with your registered credentials as an administrator.
Navigate to Collectors > Cloud Collectors.
Click New Collector.
Click Google Security Operations Cloud Collector.
Enter the following information for the cloud collector:
NAME – Specify a name for the Cloud Collector instance.
ACCOUNT – Click New Account to add a new service account. You can use this account information for use across one or more GCP Pub/Sub Cloud Collectors. For more information, see Add Accounts for Google Cloud Collectors in Shareable Service Accounts.
GCP PROJECT Number – Enter the GCP project number that you obtained from the Profile page while completing the prerequisites.
GCP PROJECT REGION – Enter the GCP region.
GCP PROJECT-ID – Enter the project ID that you obtained from the Profile page while completing the prerequisites.
CUSTOMER-ID – Enter the customer ID that you obtained from the Profile page while completing the prerequisites.
LOG TYPES – Select the log types for which you want the collector to collect data.
Click Install.
A confirmation message informs you that the new Cloud Collector is created.
Note
Ensure that you create only one cloud collector instance at a time. Google Security Operations' limitations prevent running multiple collector jobs in parallel.
