A device entity is a physical or virtual machine in your environment; for example, a computer, server, or router.

To create device entities, Attack Surface Insights looks for host names in incoming logs.

Device entities have a specific set of attributes. You can review the attributes for a particular device entity in Attack Surface Insights.
