Automation Management Playbook Triggers
Automatically run playbooks using triggers.
A playbook can run automatically when a certain situation occurs; for example, when an alert is created. This situation is called the playbook trigger. There are four playbook triggers:
Alert is created
Alert is modified
Case is created
Case is modified
The trigger object is the entity involved in the trigger; for example, if a playbook is triggered when an alert is created, the trigger object is an alert.
Not all playbooks have a trigger. You can create a playbook without a trigger. You can only run playbooks without a trigger manually on a specific case or alert.
