Create a Custom User Role

  1. Log in to the Exabeam Security Operations Platform.

  2. On the lower-left side of the user interface, click Settings SOC-Platform-Settings-Icon.png, and then click Roles.

  3. On the upper-right side of the page, click New Role.

  4. In the Display Name field, enter a descriptive name for the role.

  5. In the Description field, define the intended purpose or use of the role.

  6. From the Permissions drop-down menu, select the permissions that you want to assign to the role.

  7. When you have selected all the permissions that you want to include, click outside the drop-down menu, and then click Create.

    The new role is added to the list on the Roles page.

  8. Assign the role to to your users, as desired.
