Exabeam Copilot
Exabeam Copilot revolutionizes the Exabeam Security Operations Platform with a generative AI experience, empowering security teams with powerful productivity and insights.
Copilot AI-Driven Features
Exabeam Copilot enhances security team productivity and insights using natural language processing and generative AI capabilities. These tools elevate expertise in threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR), making them faster and more precise. Copilot is integrated into the Exabeam Security Operations Platform and includes the following features:
Natural Language Prompts in Search – Effortlessly create complex search queries, in almost any language, without the need for advanced knowledge about the Exabeam Query Language (EQL) syntax and operators. For more information, see Natural Language Search.
Natural Language in Threat Center – This feature extends the natural language technology available in Search to assist in finding alerts and cases within the Threat Center. For more information, see Use Natural Language to Search for Cases and Alerts in Threat Center.
Natural Language in Dashboard Visualizations – Use natural language prompts to describe the data you want to visualize and quickly create dashboard visualizations. Based on this plain language prompt, the measures, dimensions, filters, and chart type are configured automatically. For more information, see Auto-Create a Visualization from a Natural Language Prompt.
Copilot Analyst Assistant in Threat Center – Quickly obtain answers about cases or alerts using a security-trained AI assistant. Simply prompt the Copilot Analyst Assistant with a query, and it will generate a natural language response interpreting the case or alert information. For more information, see Triage Alerts in Threat Center.
Copilot Threat Summary in Threat Center – Receive an AI-generated summary of a threat described in a case or alert. The Copilot Threat Summary utilizes information from the case or alert to provide an overview and recommend next steps. For more information, see Triage Alerts in Threat Center.
Note
While Copilot does not require a specific license, access to related features is dependent on the apps and services you have available through your license entitlement. For example, you can use Copilot features in Threat Center as long as you have a license that supports Threat Center.
AI Development
Since 2013, Exabeam has leveraged Machine Learning (ML) and Behavioral Analytics as part of the broader AI efforts, establishing over a decade of expertise in these areas. More recently, Exabeam released generative AI technology with Exabeam Copilot which is built on a foundation of proprietary patents and processes developed internally by our team of experts. Our internal research and development efforts have resulted in unique methodologies for ML event and statistical analytics, ensuring that our AI solutions remain cutting-edge and ahead of the curve.
Personal Data Processing
We understand the importance of protecting personally identifiable information (PII). To ensure confidentiality, Exabeam generative AI models do not store PII. We use a third-party large language model (Google Gemini) to process your queries. The data used in these requests is ephemeral, stored only temporarily in memory during processing, and deleted immediately after the request is returned. This ensures your information remains private and secure. Our commitment to data privacy is unwavering, and we take all necessary measures to safeguard sensitive information.
Model Training
To maintain transparency and trust with our customers, Exabeam ensures that customer data is not used to train or fine-tune the large language model (Google Gemini). Our training processes rely exclusively on anonymized data and proprietary internal datasets. This approach preserves the integrity of our AI-driven security solutions while respecting your privacy.
False Positives and Negatives
Exabeam Copilot is designed to condense security event data into easy-to-understand language, focusing on important security details. It can also answer follow-up questions and discuss security tech topics, but its accuracy might vary outside these areas.
In the context of threat detection and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), false positives and false negatives are important considerations. While AI-driven security solutions are highly effective, these challenges can still arise. At Exabeam, we address them through human oversight, rigorous testing, and continuous improvement, ensuring that our solutions prioritize accuracy and precision. By focusing on these efforts, we build trust and deliver reliable results for our customers.
Always double-check responses for crucial decisions.
Policies and Support
At Exabeam, we believe in transparency, accountability, and fairness when it comes to our AI practices. To support these values, we're committed to keeping customers informed about updates and improvements to our AI capabilities. Stay up-to-date with our latest news, releases, and best practices through our release notes and dedicated support channels.
