Prerequisites to Configure the Workday Cloud Connector
The Workday connector uses Workday Web Services. Before you can configure the Workday connector, you must complete the following prerequisites:
Create an Integration System user and note the username and password.
Obtain the WSDL base URL. To obtain the WSDL base URL for identity management service, see the Workday documentation. When you assign the policy, you will also need the following domains: System Auditing and Workday Account Monitoring. Copy the initial part of the URL, up to the word service. For example: https://services2.myworkday.com/ccx/service.
Obtain the tenant name. Copy the tenant name from the Workday URL after logging in to Workday. For example, if the Workday URL is https://impl.workday.com/ourcompany/d/home.html, the tenant name is ourcompany.
Create the Integration System User
To create the integration system user (ISU):
Log in to Workday as an administrator with your registered credentials.
Access the Create Integration System User task and create a user by providing user details.
Specify a password for the user.
Set the session timeout minutes to
0
.Select the Do Not Allow UI Sessions check box to disable interactive UI sessions for the user you created.
Note
To avoid integration errors caused by password expiration, access the Maintain Password Rules task, and add the ISU to the System Users exempt from password expiration list.
Click OK to save the configuration.
Note the username and password of the user to use while configuring the Workday cloud connector.
Configure the Workday Cloud Connector

To configure the Workday cloud connector to import data into the Exabeam Cloud Connector platform:
Complete the Prerequisites to Configure the Workday Cloud Connector.
Log in to the Exabeam Cloud Connectors platform with your registered credentials.
Navigate to Settings > Accounts > Add Account.
Click Select Service to Add, then select Workday from the list.
Enter the required information. Required fields are indicated with a red bar.
Tenant – Select a tenant to attach to the connector if you are using a multi-tenant edition of Exabeam. Otherwise, select default.
Account Name – Specify a name for the Workday connector. For example, Workday human capital management.
Description – (Optional) Describe the Workday connector. For example, Workday for human capital management.
Username – Enter the username that you obtained while completing the prerequisites.
Password – Enter the password that you obtained while completing the prerequisites
WSDL Base URL – Enter the WSDL base URL that you obtained while completing the prerequisites
Tenant Name – Enter the tenant name that you obtained while completing the prerequisites
To confirm that the Exabeam Cloud Connector platform communicates with the service, click Test Connection.
Click Done to save your changes. The cloud connector is now set up on the Exabeam Cloud Connector platform.
To ensure that the connector is ready to send and collect data, Start the connector and check that the status shows
OK
.
