Prerequisites to Configure the Symantec Email Security.cloud Cloud Connector
To add the Symantec Email Security.cloud Cloud Connector to the Exabeam Cloud Connectors platform, you will need the following account information for your Symantec Email Security.cloud:
ClientNet login
Password
To get the needed ClientNet login and its password, the service admin will need to follow the steps described at chapter 5 "Security" in the Data Feeds API Guide: Email Advanced Threat Protection, URL Isolation, Click-time Protection, and Anti-Spam.
Configure the Symantec Email Security.cloud Cloud Connector
Complete the Prerequisites to Configure the Symantec Email Security.cloud Cloud Connector.
Log in to the Exabeam Cloud Connectors platform with your registered credentials.
Navigate to Settings > Accounts > Add Account.
From the SELECT SERVICE TO ADD dropdown, choose Symantec Email Security.cloud.
In the Accounts section, enter the required information.
Account Name – Enter a meaningful name to identify the Symantec Email Security.cloud connector. For example
Corporate Email Security
.This will become your cloud app connector name displayed in the application and in the events sent to external systems as SIEM/Log management.
Description – (Optional) Describe the purpose of the Symantec Email Security.cloud service account.
User – (ClientNet login) Enter the user name obtained in the prerequisite section.
Password – Enter the password obtained in the prerequisite section.
To confirm that the Exabeam Cloud Connector platform communicates with the service, click Test Connection.
Click Done to save your changes. The cloud connector is now set up on the Exabeam Cloud Connector platform.
To ensure that the connector is ready to send and collect data, Start the connector and check that the status shows
OK
