Add a Text Tile

To provide contextual information and help guide users through the visualizations, you can add text tiles to your dashboard.

Do one of the following:
- From the Dashboards home page, click more menu icon for the dashboard that you want to modify, and then click Edit.
  The dashboard opens in edit mode.
- Open the the dashboard that you want to modify and click the Edit button.
Click Add Tile, and then click Text.
The Add Text dialog box opens.
Enter text into the Title, Subtitle, and/or Body fields as needed.
Tip
Click Markdown Guide in the lower-left side of the box for information on formatting the body text.
Click Add.
The text tile is added to your dashboard.
(Optional) Resize the text tile and/or reposition it on the dashboard as needed.
1. Do one or both of the following:
  - To resize the text tile, in the lower-right side of the tile, click and hold the resize icon and drag it to adjust the tile's width and length.
  - To reposition the text tile on the dashboard, click in the tile and drag it to the desired location.
2. Click Save.
