Export and Import Dashboards
You can export and import your custom and pre-built dashboards as .config
files. This capability is especially useful if you are managing multiple Exabeam instances and want to distribute your favorite dashboards to them. You can also use it to back up your dashboards.
Export Dashboards
From the Dashboards home page, select one or more dashboards that you want to export. To select dashboards in the list or tile view, hover your pointer over a specific dashboard and click the check box that appears. A new set of options is displayed in the top left, next to the sorting and filtering options.
From the new options, click Export.
A message displays to indicate that the selected dashboards have been exported successfully. The dashboards are downloaded as
.config
files to your default download folder.
Import Dashboards
From the Dashboards home page, click Import.
The Import Dashboard dialog box opens.
Do one of the following:
Drag one or more dashboard
.config
files that you want to import into the Import Dashboards dialog box.Click Select File and then navigate to and select one or more
.config
files that you want to import.
If necessary, rename any dashboard that has the same name as an existing dashboard.
If you have selected a dashboard that has the same name as an existing dashboard, a notification appears in the Import Dashboards dialog box. You must rename the dashboard before you can import it.
To rename a dashboard:
Click the edit icon for the dashboard that you want to rename.
Edit the dashboard name, and then click Confirm.
Click Import.
A message displays to indicate that the dashboards have been successfully imported.
