    • NAME – Specify a name for the Cloud Collector instance.

    • CLIENT ID – Enter the App Key that you obtained while completing prerequisites.

    • CLIENT SECRET – Enter the App Secret that you obtained while completing prerequisites.

    • Click to authorize – Click to authorize the Exabeam Cloud Collector to communicate with the Progress ShareFile account.

Use the following steps to complete the authentication.

      • Enter the subdomain for your Progress ShareFile account and click Continue. The subdomain is your ShareFile subdomain. For example, if you use https://mycompany.sharefile.com to access your ShareFile account, mycompany is your subdomain.

      • Enter your user email and password for Progress ShareFile.

      • Click Sign In.

      • Verify the device using any of the methods: text message, voice call, or authenticator app.

      • Enter the verification code that you obtained via any of the above mentioned methods and click Verify.

    • DATA SOURCES – Select the data sources from which you want to collect data: Access Change, Activity, Shares Request, and Shares Send.

    • INGEST FROM – Select the time and date from which the collector must start ingesting events. If you leave this field blank and do not provide a threshold, all logs are ingested.

  7. (Optional) SITE – Select an existing site or to create a new site with a unique ID, click manage your sites. Adding a site name helps you to ensure efficient management of environments with overlapping IP addresses.

By entering a site name, you associate the logs with a specific independent site. A sitename metadata field is automatically added to all the events that are going to be ingested via this collector. For more information about Site Management, see Define a Unique Site Name.

  8. (Optional) TIMEZONE – Select a time zone applicable to you for accurate detections and event monitoring.

By entering a time zone, you override the default log time zone. A timezone metadata field is automatically added to all events ingested through this collector.

    1. Access Settings > Admin Settings > Security > Login & Security Policy on the the Progress ShareFile developer console as an account owner.

    2. Scroll down to the Authentication section and set the value for Re-authenticate after. You can also set the value to NEVER if you don't want to re-authenticate again. Note that this setting is applied globally and will impact all accounts, including API accounts.
